In jc, i took part in a the annual music festival to sing solo. I get into semi-finals but was not selected in the finals. Those were the days when my classmates and all know the way i sing and encourage me to sing falsetto. I wouldn't say i can sing soprano but i do like to sing some of those soprano songs. Singing has always been something i enjoy ever since i was in primary school. In primary school, i started listening to celine dion and mariah carey. I was addicted to songs in Les Miserables, and other fantastic songs by chinese singers such as Kit chan.
This entry is not something i wan to write juz to boost my morale, but to really write down things i enjoy doing in my life. Some of my frens who go the KTV with me were pretty impressed that can sing so high notes when some of my female counterparts couldn't even reach. I never claim to be professionally trained in singing, but i do have many good appraisal from frens. My same gender ppl tend to see me in a different light. "how can a guy sing until like a girl like that? yew.." Oh well, i dun like those comments, but wat can i do? :)
I can sing like Kit chan , fish leong so wat? I can sing like celine or madonna, so wat? Ppl still think that guys who sing falsetto are freaking faggots who are sissies...watever they say.
I might be soft and introverted to some extent, but always tell myself to stick to the motto in life ; " Optimitism and Confidence" :)
I realise i can't do without singing, and i can't do without great songs and music. They tell different stories for me which i really pay close attention to, especially the lyrics.
