I went insane yesterday. Left home at 2030, to reach tamp mall around 2100 to catch Phantom of the Opera at 2135. Alone.
Fancy them putting me on a seat sandwiched by 2 couples snuggling together. The guy on my right keep asking his gal fren to shut up and juz watched the movie.
It was a lovely movie...but too bad singing was so so. The phantom was the only one i think the singing can make it. The Christine singing not powerful enough.
As usual, the ever popular tunes, music of the night, think of me,all i ask of you....enchanting and bewitching melodius tunes.
I guess to put an opera into a movie makes so much easier for audiences to understand. Of course, the play had more expensive tickets.
Glad i manage to catch it, coz i think it is going to close soon. Ah, not to forget the "masquerade"....quite a catchy tune.
Hmmm at various times the Christine can't reach higher notes and she used lower notes to replace, not impromptu of coz.
Overall i enjoyed watched the movie. Hmmm sometimes i wonder why all the guys who played the Phantom always have to sing that "way" of voice. Like those ppl in constipation like that. I guess they wan to accentuate his misery and plight....
Christine is so chio and white like snow :)
