Time flies and i am already past 21. Juz come back from the stupid weekend duty and i muz say it is a slack yet boring weekend duty. Teo Chee Hsean's son had enlisted in HAWK coy, and i feel terrible for my specs in hawk.
In the my one year plus in bmtc as an instructor, sometimes i like to make comments like, "oi recruit, you think your father owns the army is it?"
However, if that question is ever directed to teo chee hsean's son, his reply will be,
"Yes sergeant, my father owns the army...."
Hmmm how should I react then? Haha.
My buddy in jaguar also have 2 "white horses" in his company, ANyway a white horse is a metaphor for a person whose parents are influential and "deserve" special attention from the instructors. Jaguar coy has 2 recruits at the moment whom one is a General's son, while the other an influential business man's son. Oh well, business man's son...? Hmm deserve special attention? Kiss my a** !
Anyway these 2 guys were arranged to be buddies. In the army you will have one designated buddy whom you are suppose to account ur whereabouts to.
Ken(in jaguar) was telling me whether they should try to test the SAF system by giving these white horses low scores and see where they are beingposted to after their bmt phase. Is it really that foolproof?
