My mum was clearing her leave from wednesday all the way to sunday. She will then be at home. She invited her colleagues to my house for some feast today. Ya forgot to mention something. My mum got PROMOTED to section leader. Really happy for her. THough she might not be literate in english, but i am still proud of her. As long she is enjoying what she is doing and i will always be there to listen to her political issues. :)
Anyway, they are all(8 plus ppl i think) eating at my kitchen, with the curry fish head, salads, some shells, some dumplings....etc. Well, i dunno what else to help my mum except to pour some drinks for them. In this kind of sweltering heat, my drinks really save their day.
Before they came, my mum and i cook ourselves our own curry fish head. While eating, she asked me if it's spicy. I told her no, and thus she decided to put more chili inside the curry. May be coz of my mum, that all of us have this affinity for chili or spicy food, for that matter. Hope her colleagues are not in their throes of agony screaming for a saviour to ameliorate the pain in their tongues. Yes i am being cruel with words. I know.
As usual my mum will tell them i had juz ORD, then i will juz smile mirthlessly.., with some inscrutable expression that demand them to say thank you when i serve them drinks. Luckily they did that. .......
