Guess you guys knew me well enough to know what i wanted to talk about today. Yes the final showdown for the american idol. No doubt yesterday's performance was great, with appearance of Kenny G and other veteran singers whom i have never hear of. The duet that Carrie and Bo sang together..can't remember the title but later gona ask a fren of mine...coz i remember part of the song appeared in Moulin Rouge before... beautiful song.
On wednesday singapore time, carrie sang the "inside ur heaven" so badly...that my brother and i were like "yew..." this song doesn't match her at all...appalling.. but i always think that her best song is still "crying" by Roy Orbison, the guy who sang "pretty woman". Today i was in office when i heard gold 90 fm played this orginal version of "crying". Still prefer carrie's dulcet tones in it.
To my horror yesterday i realised that "inside ur heaven" is going to be the single she is releasing on june 14. When the show was about to end yesterday, she performed her last song on the kodal theatre and it was the "inside ur heaven", still as bad-sounding as ever. The straits times was unanimous with my opinions too. It was written in today's papers that clive davis is going to have a rough time recording the cd for her haha. Oh well...at least she is going to grab the limelight out from Kelly clarkson. Both of them might be stunningly similiar in looks but then Kelly (a cocktail waitress) will lose out to that warm smiling Carrie...who looks so demure and adorable. =)
But i still prefer Vonzell Solomon to Carrie woodie gal.
