Today is wednesday, and i actually wanted to jog but unfortunately, the sky started to pee like nobody's business.
Though my workplace is like 10-15min walk from my house,i still got drenched to a moderate extent.
Friday steve ask me to go for the prayer meeting for singapore christians at the singapore expo and i am still pondering whether i should go or not.
Yesterday met linda in tampines(again) coz i need to return her her scrub and she wanted to pass to me that cream of hers from myanmar. In end she had finally heeded the advice of her conscience and saved one for me haha. And she also brought her laptop along and showed me my timetable as well as the advisable timetable she worked out for me. Woah..so touched, YING GAI de.
ANyway, she got to explained some UNI jargons to me, which sounded so "alien" to me. She showed me her powerpoint of the pictures she took at myanmar, the living conditions, the kids, the "guy" a.k.a Fabian, erm some depressing stories which she shared. An example is the outright practices of corruption especially when linda saw a car owner stretching his hands to pass some dollar notes to the traffic police.
Today read a news on NEW PAPER which talks about this US tabloid who names the top 10 ugly ppl. One of whom is a cop who got himself burnt when a cab rammed into his car. Frankly speaking, he was grostesque. But casting that aside, i read of a tremendous love that struck at my heart strings. He was so badly burnt till only his lips and legs were spared from the kind of hell-like pain he was sufffering. When his wife saw him in this condition, she took his toes and kiss them one by one, saying :"i love you so much". The headline on the frontpage of the newspaper reads, "He is not ugly, he is my hubby."
Sometimes love is so amazing, yet i am always more inclined to believe that beauty comes from skin deep perception. A sensational visual treat? I mean come on, all of us in one or another fall to deadly trap isn't it?
Hmm nothing wrong with seeing pretty gals, with voluptuous figures, but a fruit always comes to the picture. LEMON. A pretty oval-shaped fruit with that bright yellow colour, yet it is sour within.

98.7 do such a great re-shuffle to the DJs for their programs. I was listening to the morning madness on monday when suddenly there is weird interruption while daniel and grace were talking. There was a pause. And a voice came in: "Sorry for this interruption, daniel ong and grace chua had been taken away from the airway, brace urself, in 30s, for a brand new 98.7".
I was like ??? What in the world is going on? Then there was this beeping sounds which really countdown to 30s. At the end of it, came songs with various remixes. That was when i realise they are changing the programs and the DJs. LAME.
