Today wake up early in the morning to go to Geyland methodist pri. Reached there to see a new group of PRC gals joining as mentors. Tadmond seems very agitated by their presence which i dunno why. Oh well, may be it's that same agitation i had towards in_i_ns.
Interestingly, that 4th year Soc Shivaram gave me quite a bit of impression with his friendliness as welll as good spoken english.
Today after the first hour of coaching, we played badminton with them. My skills, if any, were rusty like hell. The kids enjoyed goofing around, and that Jiansheng as usual going around disturbing girls. He hit a gal with the racquet accidentally, and the gal scolded him hokkien vulgarity, chao ji bai. We were like omgoodness. A girl swearing in that word?
Yicheng was also crying coz somebody disturbs her.
I guess it's all about mingling with them and to get to know them better.
I have to force myself to set aside time if not i might juz died under that enormity of stress from school work. At least going to the primary school kind of relieves some tension in myself.
So tired.I am helping SOngning with the preparation treasure hunt next week for the kids, together with tadmond and company.

Yesterday i made a new- found fren during my maths tutorial. Erm...my maths tutorial is so primitive and uncle..but i like the way he explained the tutorials. Good enough that he know his stuff lar. I happened to noe this guy called Sim chuan who was the first person i knew who is in the same tutorial group as me, D3. He told me he is a malaysian and then he is living in PGP. Rich dude. Anyway he juz came to singapore last wednesday and had a late matriculation. The worse was what he told me next. He took 5 major requirement modules..coz he doesnt want to be bothered with SS and GEM first. Siong. I told him politely that he really dun sound like Malaysian who stay in KL. He then explained that malaysians got 2 types: those in the chinese school and those in the english school. I guess he muz be the latter one then. I used to have this classmate back in jc called wei ern..and talking to him you can immediately deduce his nationality.haha. I wonder where this fren had gone to.
Computing tutorial: 5% participation. Kind of not used to seeing ppl so enthusiastic in answering questions..but i was one of them..haha. I actually went up to answer a super dumb question. "Computer can be smart or stupid. Discuss both views." So i have to go up and write "computers can't go against human orders" under the smart column. I was in a dilemma in choosing which column to write. After all if computers go against our orders...then things will be in such an anarchy. Yet my tutor told me that in many human cases...going against orders can bring about good causes and rational responses. Oh well.
I made up my mind to stay over at a frens place on either wednesday or thursday night..coz thursday and fri morning i got maths lectures. Waking up at 6 to take bus or mrt is equally torturous. MRT is worst. Muz stand,....and sleep.
TGIF yeah. Tmr got BP mentoring.

I think i look the ugliest when i fall asleep on bus 151. On good days, i got an aircon bus, but lousy ones, i got this ancient non-aircon bus filled with stinko ppl. Sometimes i woke up to jerks on the bus, sometimes to the accidental brake of the bus, but the worse case scenario is when i woke up to realise that my mouth was hanging open (with no drools, pls). Sometimes i woke up with my mouth open with a qio bu sitting right in front of me. Erm...thats why i wanted to be an ostrich. Oh well..the journey home..is always too long for me to bear. Sometimes i wonder how i survive that journey..with the twists and turns here and there.
Today while i was leaning back to rest my head on the "bar" of the seat while sitting down, my head knock on the hands of the indian guy sitting behind me. I immediately lifted my head and turned around to apologise curtly. To my wonderful surprise, he actually said "go on go on, rest ur head and sleep..." That had been the nicest thing i ever received from an indian so far.
After that horrendous experience with a lousy electrical engin lecturer, i had slowly evolved into a racer Esp those with tongues that are curly...that i really hope someone could get that tongue out to iron it properly. Pronunciation aside, my lecturer was a native one. Ya u should get it. Native one. Circuit becomes Cir-cute. He compiled his notes into a book and asked us to buy from CO-OP. Minus pt for that. Second, he nothing much on the IVLE for us to make full use of. Up to recently, the he started to upload webcasted lectures. Slack, minus point. Once during lecture, someone feedback to him that he is kind of going too fast. He replied,"am i going too fast? i dun think so." THat is like so....qian bian.
Today was like Guojun's first EE lab and the indian guy was like confused over the timetable and a scapegoat had to cover his lesson in replacement of his absence.
Today was my first encounter with my computing tutor who was a tentative 2 week tutor. He was a russian. This was the first time i see an angmo speaking english ma chiam it's was a foreign language to him. His name is PASHAH. His russian name, however, was beyong pronunciation. The girls in the class were like drooling over him coz of his gorgeous features and accent. Ok lar..all angmos are like that ma.
Yeah tmr no lesson again. I am so happy. CAn get down to finish some programming stuff and maths.
Oh now that i am in BP mentoring, i am automatically a member of rotaract club. Not that it matters to me anyway.
I am kind of addicted to Cai Chun Jia's latest album and esp the Meng Zai Shou Li, being my favourite.
My little brother juz told me that Dido and Eminem had a song together. I was like HUH??? Wat a weird combination. I juz got that song which was orginally Dido's. The title is Stan, i think..can't really remember.

Alright yes i know that i haven been blogging for ages and ages. U think i dun like to blog meh. Sometimes i think i gave myself too much undue stress. I ask too much of myself. Or perhaps i am juz a perfectionist, so subtle that i didn't even notice it.
For the past few days, i asked many questions about how i should start off this new sch term. Everybody around me seem to be competing for who has the fastest momentum in studying right in nus. Not that i really care. But i do feel the slightly pressure.
Sch aside, the basic accessories like books and stationeries are enough to keep me brOKE.
Alright let's stop toking about sch now. Hmm. Talk about food. Food in engin fac really sucks. I still prefer science and arts. At least the food there are slightly colourful haha.
Walking around is fine with me..but sometimes in that hot day i really feel like going to macdonald and juz slack right in there.
Oh ya not to mention that i can actually watch tv shows on my lappy (only in nus). I saw jordan opening up several channels and watching them during the boring computing lecture yesterday.
The first lecture of computing seems pretty fine to me, and may the reason was due the read up that i had during army. However, physics is one hell of a subject. Basically alot of things in physics are juz maths, maths, with the difference that it's in a different language.
I was so pissed with myself at how come i cannot make up my mind of whether i should go for the RESONACE audition. Afterall i had wanted to go. But there is juz this pyshological barrier i had in myself. If ultimately i had dissuaded myself from joining resonance, then probably i will go back to photography society.
Today is wednesday. I met up with my senior to buy a C textbbook from her. THough it wasn't really the book i want, but i kind of think it should be alright lar.
Wednesday. Superstar in on today. Hope later after my reading i can have the time to watch them sing.

I think for the past few days i had been thinking of many things. Thinking of how my engin workload will be like, and whether i can really afford to have the time to participate in any cca at all.
First and foremost, i would like to join RESONANCE, the NUS a capella. Second on my mind was the photographic society. One which is something i will pursue due to a keen and innate passion for singing. One is a passion in appreciating skilfully taken photos. In the army, due to Ken, i had this almost sudden interest in taking photos. He did give me some tips here and there, magazines, and even his analog camera SLR. Yet i am aware that out of these 2 only one can be my cca.
CCA aside, tmr is the audition for Rhapsody 2005, and i am thinking of joining this competition. Part of me is reluctant, yet the other is encouraged my frens who supported me. If i were to go there tmr between 12 to 5 at chinatown kbox to sing, my song will be coco lee's "before i fall in love".
Hmmm tmr i am going to army market with my second brother too, and in the evening to the festival of praise at the indoor stadium. I am going there juz to take a look lor.
Today is my department's welcome session. Otherwise known as ISE day. Industrial and systems. I met up with my mentor, Prof Lee Loo Hay and chatted with him. He is generally an approachable guy who is pretty amiable himself. That day i went for the ENGIN welcome session. Today is the industrial and systems department welcome session. THe head of department Prof something went on to tell us about the curriculum as well as about how fortunate we are to enter into this department, of only 57 in strength.
Things that he told us about the industrial engineers are somewhat what i had read up before. In the first place i chose this department after reading into the areas that IE(industrial engineers) do.
Made some new friends, including "duy", pronounced as "zuwee", a vietnamese, as well as Juan, from philippines. I think i muz have been a fool myself when i asked Juan what his race was. He told me "philippino" and he laughed. Alright fine, i thought he could be a chinese also ma. Boo.
Duy, that vietnamese guy is really incomprehensible. What i meant by that is, i simply had a tough time trying to understand his english. Yes all i understand is his laughter, and I laughed perfunctorily with him lor.
Can't believe that during the talk someone actually raise his hand and asked the professor what time his first lecture wil be. I was like "duh".....everywhere u can find the timing of ur lecture lor. cors, ivle..bla bla.
How i wish i could turn back the time. I couldn't buy the mrt concession pass coz bus and mrt couldn't be bought separately. Ughh now i muz wait for the bus concession to end in a month's time.

Today spent 5 hours at kbox tampines with weini and angelina. Woah pretty impressed with angel's rendition of PENG JIA HUI songs. She got this natural flair for singing really sobby songs. WHen i say sobby i meant that her singing got this weeping quality. Of coz, not to mention Weini sweet nice voice too.
Angel even took a pic of weini and me as well as recording my singing in her handphone. 5 hours at the ktv is so darn long yet time flew like nobody's business. Sing and sing and sing. Try a couple of new songs that i had never try singing before. As usual, I love kit chan and Coco lee.
