I think i have finally been given a big welcome session to the life of NUS. Yes i am talking about the 2 tests i had so far. 2 first tests after 2 years in the army. This opening ceremony had indeed been one crushing defeat that makes me question my effort in mugging for these 2 tests. Physics was yesterday at LT 25 in science fac. Computing was today, 11 to 12. So i didn't go for mentoring today.
Physics- I got no time at all to finish. I can only do 3-4 questions. I simply was so stunned during the whole test. Questions were nothing that i had seen or even foreseen.
Computing-- at the end of the test, my head was really throbbing with pain. Pain from the brain juice in figuring out the while and for loops. This was even worse than Maths. Each question lurked a trap that could easily ensnarl anyone of us right there. I had trouble figuring out the logical explanation behind some of the questions.
Am i demoralised. Of coz. But what to do leh? LL right. No point grumbling too much about it. At least most of my frens find it hard too. But lessons told me not to regard any of my fren's comments as ultimate yardstick for my relief in anything.
Studies aside, i find that Fish leong latest album is a bit on the disappointing side. Interestingly, Joi Tsai had surpassed her in many ways. I guess every singer is always singing in that unique style of theirs, but Joi never seem to run of her choice for singing very down-to-earth ballads, ceaselessly striking many similiar chords every now and then. Fish--only her "Lu" is nice leh. The rest is juz so so.
Remember that little girl in I guess I guess variety show in WU ZHONG XIAN show? The gal beside Ah Ya. I didn't know she could sing that well u know. Recently heard her singing during some variety show in promoting her new album. Quite a sweet voice. Sweet not that Cyndi Wang kind of sweet, but really a nice little voice. Polished i should say.
As i am typing this, my mum is playing her mahjong again.
My brother came back from army, and on thursday the day he was back, we talked about many stuff about army. About the combat pt, about his superiors,...bla bla. Erm i find that he grow a bit fat leh. Dunno why.
