Everday day at work is always a new adventure. For one, today is dumpling festival, so i can actually got the chance to indulge in good food. Apparently the company always has its staff lunch on special festivals. So today, my pantry(suppose to be my hideout place when i am free) has become a place for the waiter from Raffles hotel to collect the dishes. So when i came back from a delivery at Kaki Bukit (juz behind my house..so i went to take a quick shower, coz i was soaked in sweat), Gracia asked me to go and have my lunch inside the conference room. I would love to eat else where because all the senior managers were all inside the room eating. I had to go the right corner to sit down by myself to eat, feeling so uncomfortable.

The food is simply exotic and delicious..and i happen to take a peep at the receipt of the buffet. 1500++. Simply a horrendous sum for a buffet. The food is extraordinary, like lamb chop with rosemary sauce, some smoked salmon, some tandori chicken, lots of dessert. Guess what, my favourite is the cheesecake...it's really nice to the core..and everybody is also praising the excellency of this cheesecake. Simply irresistable. Those that they can't finish, i juz sit down at the pantry and eating away..

Before i left for work, my boss even passed me box of dumpling from Raffles Hotel. Apparently each staff have to take one box of 5 rice dumplings, and will bring home for my mum's breakfast tmr before her work.

Sorry for the unsightly pics of the leftover food...=)

Gracia jus got herself a new basket of flowers for her reception desk. Nice exotic flowers..(real flowers)

Today my boss passed me this small little box with my post-sticked name on it. Was wondering if it was some voucher? Haha yea i can dream on that. Juz a stack of discount coupons. The basement 1 of Raffles City is called the Market place. The discounts come from the shops at the basement 1. Most of the shops are shops that i never patronise in my entire life. Like natural source? some restaurants there...etc bla bla. So if any of u guys plan to have some dinner with ur the other half and needed some discount, pls let me know..dun wish to throw this away =)

Today i spent my day as usual wandering around, yea, juz like when the hungry ghost festival is around the corner. From wheelock, to scotts shopping centre, to bugis, ..etc. Eventually had my lunch in bugis, at one of my favourite hawker center. Basically this 3 month holiday is really turn me into a rather hawker-savvy person. All the real nice good in chinatown, geyland, paradiz, the 24-7 places bla bla.

1.I realise that if u really need a good chilling out places and don't wish to travel far, you can actually go down to Siglap center. There is a Coffee club express with real nice desserts, next to it is a Cafe cartel, then some restaurant, then finally a Haigen Daz cafe. Further down the road is a starbucks...and one more cafe i can't remember wat.

2. It's about 2am and you wanted to find some cafe to chat, talk, sipping coffee? I think Mr Bean might be a nice place, which is right opposite Paradiz. Another one could be the Phil Steak House opposite Bugis Junction. This alley behind Bugis Junction sure have alot of its nice eating places, cafes and etc. The lounge next to Phil Steakhouse. I chose to order juz some blended coffee when i went there. Quite cheap compared to other places. These 2 places operate 24/7 i think.

3. It's the durian season man! Yea, good thing i have a few biker army frens and they always like to go there to eat. For me, i really can't take that much you know. Feels rather heaty the next day. Breakout will then be imminent. Geylang got 3 prominent stalls with the tables there, and each table got this big basket for u to throw the seeds. Some even sell u the coconut drink..etc. I suggest if u are going there to bring a bottle of mineral water. Well..if u go to the real GOOD stall, the taste is really heavenly! Be ready to spend around 30 bucks...

4. There are a few nice things nice about mud pies..yummy. They are so sinfully delicious... NYDC always have one of the best mud pies not juz because of the variety they have, another one of coz is the Coffee Club Express which has won some award. Also, we have the new one at Marina Square..selling some Japanese dessert...if i am not wrong the name of the restaurant is Changing Appetite..

5. Talking about cakes... lim teh and i are always addicted to the Chicago chesse cake. In addition IKEA got this delicious cake which they sold over the counter at the first floor. I have never bought it back home, but having eaten there, the cake is simply crunchy and delicious! yum.

6. Any idea that if u were to rank the most inaccessible shopping malls in town? Mine would be Tanglin Mall, UE Square, Great World City.

Thank God that i finally found a new tuition in pasir ris once again. Teaching sec 3, combined chem/phy. 25/hr. 1.5 hour per week. Good enough. =)

Saving up for 3 things to buy now: printer, 1 GB memory stick, wireless mouse. Let's juz see what the coming PC fair ought to offer.

Yea i got the financial aid package...but they asked me to choose a package. It seems like i have no choice but to choose the 800 dollar one. THe reason is because the other package requires me to be a holder of the NUS Study loan. I am only on the Bank Loan thingy, so in the end i can only choose the 800 bucks one, which is good enough lar. =)

Today i had a problem locating this place called Kim Keat Link, suppose to deliver a gift voucher to a colleague who was pregnant. What a weird job scope i have huh? Anyway, i in the end asked a fren of mine to help me locate this place which was in Toa Payoh.

Tmr is my CEO birthday. There were so plenty of flower baskets delivery today! And i have to carry them to the secretary lor. Oh ya not to mention the big cake she had today for her bdae tmr. It was a cake made by Raffles Hotel specially for her. It's called something like chocolate mousse, according to one of my colleague. When u bite into the cake, there this crunchy thingy inside, ma chiam like the CHOCO CRUNCH like that. Plenty of assorted wild berries on it. Simply scrumptious to the core! She also had this OLD FASHIONED lotus buns.....Why old fashioned? I mean, come on, you mean you want to have lotus buns for ur birthday? No doubt they are delicious with the NIAN RONG inside, but once it'd chill down, it kind of lost the initial freshness...

Today
Maggie a temp staff was standing in for Gracia(pregnant). She is waiting to go NUS, going for ECONS major. But as u noe, the first year is kinda like common modules for all in ARTS. So i kind of chatted with her little, never really intimidate her with the gory NUS staff. Oh well, nothing much to talk with her also since i dunno much about ARTS fac ma. She was at the reception, busying with her SUDOKU. Oh ya she's from SAJC by the way.

As mentioned earlier, i was in Toa Payoh today, so i kind of walked around and saw the FABRIC OF A NATION thingy. So i took a few shots of the "blankets" thing and here it is.

Once again, second day of work and ppl in this company are super nice to me, helping me and correcting me when i made mistakes. So i should not slack :P

Ever since the advent of my free outgoing to 3 m1 numbers, gj and i machiam nothing better to do keep calling each other to chat about the upcoming results. Boy, am i nervous, and more or less we are affirmed of the results already. Undoubtedly, i should be relieved and glad for the slightly high jump in cap score. Not asking for more already.

Today is the beginning of my job at Raffles Holdings limited. The pic on the left is the pic(unedited, no time) i have taken from my phone while staring out at the window at the pantry. I am pretty fascinated with the capaccino machine and almost drowning myself in those cups of rich coffee. Ya i need to keep awake. It's an honour for me to work in this company, because it involves seeing some of the people who manage the swiss hotel, raffles hotel, getting to walk past the raffles city convention center, and many other corners i'd never been to in my entire life. You could never believe some of the grandeur that comes along with this temp job. Besides the plenty of opportunities for me to slack at Raffles city whenever there are no despatch work (allowed to do so). My admin lady told me i am allowed to go jalan jalan around the area until there is some despatch documents to do, or else i can choose to stay behind at the pantry reading my stuff.

Ya...i guess my wait for Pearly was worthy. SHe offered me the best jobs and this is by far the best. Considering what i have mentioned in my previous entry, the new 50 dollar EZ link card, a monthly 30 dollar handphone fee, can claim cab fare for ugent documents, 6.5 per hour.. it's simply more than i'd asked for.

Ok enough of the jubilation and obnoxious indulgence in satiation.

Back to reality check. Happy for lim teh that she'd finally secured a job for her. She has been an epitome of determination for me. She is not competitive, taking things in her stride, crazy as she is, yet simple and decent. Happy for her because she got this research job that she had longed for, a job that even got her to travel to china and indonesia. Considering the description of her interviewing process, it was a nice suprise that the interviewer actually replied that fast to her in welcoming her on board the company. Sometimes this job may be too big for her, coz she had wanted to juz stayed inside the lab and do research, yet i think the interviewer caught that intense passion in her. ALRIGHT ENOUGH OF FLATTERY comments! haha.

It seems terribly fast that gals our batch are thinking about adult things. ABout career, may be settling down, marriage? The latter being the least prioritised, i presumed. Angel herself had her own woes to be concerned about. I guess it's quite a turning point her at this juncture in her life, where decision seriously play a critical role in manoevuring her life. Well, wishing her all the best in capturing, kidnapping, one professor to support her project. Cheers.

Pls understand i am typing this entry rather fast coz it going 12am and i am still awake, i should be sleeping...for another long day tmr.

Oh ya, i am still pondering over taking linda's student in queenstown, physics, sec4 exp. Thats the updates for now. Make sure the next day you stay here, same site, same url, same time, same day. Goodnight, Ma-re-gem.

I am simply elated because i'd jus passed the interview today. It seems like a very solemn company with some still air of seriousness inside. I am working in Raffles City Tower as a despatch, everyday work from 830 to 6pm, provided with an EZ link, and spare cash for cab. Quite a good deal, not to mention the 6.5 per hour . Quite a good rate. =) THis will be keeping me occupied till sch starts.

Pretty dismay to hear from 2 frens separately that X men sucks. Could it really be due to the change in director? My brother and my fren both gave the same criticism for the movie...not much of any coincidence huh?

Oh well..i still LL have to watch it this saturday. Hope the results released at 3pm will not affect my mood for Xmen though. =)

Well...miss Ethyl? May be abit..coz i like to play with kids ma...like playing "dragon and princess" with them. Ethyl will be fairy, Ashley will be the princess and of coz i will be the evil dragon chasing them. The standing fan will be "charging area" for both dragon and the fairy. The princess only have the folded stars to protect herself (ya she have alot of folded stars at home).

Ok childish things aside, i may be taking over one of LInda's students for physics in the west. I thought in the long term wise, it will be convenient for me after sch to go down and give tuition. But of coz during this holiday season, it is pretty inconvenient.

Who is the hero in your life? This video specially features a very young Mariah singing..Hero..one of the best song sang by her thus far i think... il divo, the 4 italian singers also did a rendition of this song with another unique flavour to it, as it was inclined towards the classical side.

I think the lyrics are pretty apt to anybody who is searching for that hero in your life. Nobody would be looking for heroine haha. I am not being a sexist here or wat...but the idea of a heroine ...doesn't really fascinate me much enough to blog about it haha. Oh well..i think Mariah sang this song during the "Tribute to Heroes"....around the period of the Sep 11 disaster. Celine also sang a song called God Bless America with a yearning hope that no more such disaster shall befall upon these people. The tribute to heroes was comparable to shows like the NKF charity show, but it's not about Mariah and Celine dancing indian dances, or doing their stint of walking on high rise buildings, or eat swords, ya you get my idea and i shall stop elaborating haha. All you need is juz powerhouse celebrity to bring the show to a climax great enough for ppl to avoid thinking twice about calling the charity hotline.

TOday is like another slacking day for me, while i try to convert some of the music videos i rip from Youtube into 3GP format, to upload into my handphone. The quality is not excellent, but still passable...at least i can watch some music videos enroute to my tuition tmr..or anywhere on bus.

Today is my dad's birthday and my whole family went down to tampines to shop for some clothes for my dad. We ended up in Giordano coz my dad got discount due to his actual birth date today. =)

My youngest brother and I went to queue up at the m1 shop to get a new phone for my dad. Expectedly my dad has chosen the nokia 3G phone, the sliding one...can't remember the model name. Never trust me to remember these models' name, esp Nokia's. So fork out 50, my second brother also 50.

I also got myself a new Sony ericsson k750i at 57 plus bucks. Furthermore, my student plan will be 13 bucks per month for 1 year, after which the last year of contract wil resume back to the normal price of 25.20. I am still happy, coz the guy told me he could activate the 100 dollar voucher i had gotten via mail. The voucher had supposedly expired, which is why i didn't bother to use the voucher today. When he told me he still could activate that voucher for me coz the expiry date is juz recent made me so freaking happy to save another 100.

The phone was 0 dollar with a 200 dollar trade in. My motorola worth 50, so i am supposed to pay 150 but the 100 dollar voucher helped me save alot!

Because i was using the student plan, i have to put down 3 m1 number with free outgoing. In the end, i choose my dad, my second brother and guojun one lor. Since guojun is going to be in the same course as me the rest of the 3 years, might as well put his number lor.

Oh ya, my dad got the 100 dollar off too... So i was telling myself not to be so happy about the voucher..it could be juz another marketing gimmick, i can never be that sure.

My family and i then headed to bedok avenue 3 for the Fish steamboat..and other side dishes which amount to 50 plus...good bargain.. so filling now..

Pic with super duper lousy quality coz of my lousy camera phone. Then again..manage to upload it..and the one on the right is Ethyl and the one on the left is Ashley. You should hear her younger sis speak chinese. Really super awkward. Typical english-educated kids..

Ashley is primary 1 and Ethyl of coz primary 4. I think Ashley is adorable, always laugh hysterically like a witch. (yea and i call that adorable).

Kids will forever freeze in those moments of innocence, oblivion to those politics of the world, always indulging in whatever simple pieces of toys and tools they have. Ya and today is my tuition day, and as usual Ethyly never fail to amaze me with her paucity in concentration thru out the whole session.... I am definitely not the source of problem :P

At least one thing to be thankful is their amiable parents who never look upon me with distrustful pair of suspicious eyes or even ordering what to revise with the student, like what Eugene's mum did.

You ask me if i ever look upon each tuition session as a source of income. Sadly, sometimes i do feel like this way. However, sometimes at least i love seeing them smile and laugh while teaching them. Eugene for example, once ask me, "How come you always like to say kena this and kena that ah?". For that split second, i was kind of loss for words. I jus say.."aiya..i am used to it already ma..may be i will change into other words lor".

How terribe i can be right? Sometimes when i am teaching Ethyl, i always like to countdown to her going her room to take some stuff, counting down to her getting back to the table..and bla bla. Why counting down is so inherent in me...i am sure most of u all might noe why..but being found guilty of doing that,..i see now harm doing that too. At least i manage to get her back to Earth. Her mind might be floating somewhere in some unknown planet X, where powerpuff girls are in dominion.

Yesterday went to suntec with eric my army fren and then i bounce into two 4A couples in suntec. First i saw Ailing with his bf, and then i see Jianheng and Fengling. Bought a shirt and berms from giordano yesterday. Spent money again. Well, at least my objective is met. Coz i need 2 shirts and juz one berm. Running out of clothes to wear u know. haha.
Then after that went to marina south not to eat the steamboat, but actually tried the curry rice. Actually to me it was not so spicy, but i didn't know the poor buddy of mine was struggling with the curry. He used in all one and a half packet of tissues for the amount of perspiration he had. This was the first time i see someone sweat until like that when eating curry. Scary hehe.
Today back to at home, after going out 4 days in a row. Later on still got tuition with Ethyl at pasir ris.
Better go back to reading my C++.

You Are 23% Selfish

In general, you are a very giving person who treats others very well.
But at times, you insist on getting your way - when it matters most to you.
How Selfish Are You?

U noe wat kind of ppl can really piss me off?

1. People who talk so loudly in the bus, that figuratively the whole world can hear him loud and clear.
2. People who act as if they are some long time buddy with me, always babbling nonsense to you, and never-ending anecdotes of theirs. The worst is when they miss all the subtle and obvious hints I give him.
3. People who make use of the weakness in myself to exploit to his gain.
4. People who snatch my handphone to read my sms. :P
5. People with high ego that he feels that nothing is comparable with himself. This is often due to a super lack in EQ.

I am not that hard to get along with right ? hehe :)

I forgot to mention that Ryan Seacrest called Paula Abdul a two-dollar hooker tonight in American idol. Actually it was one-dollar but it was still great television. He said something to the effect that he feels he should be giving her a dollar after her dance moves, though he didn't really use the word "hooker". Randy and Simon got all offended, yet Paula said nothing. A note to Randy and Simon, Ryan doesn't like to watch women dance. For ur info, ryan is dating the desperate housewife, Teri Hatcher.

As a whole, Katherine has slowly follow the route of sensationalisation. Meaning, everything about her singing comprised juz actions, no sense of genuine passion in her singing. No doubt she can sing, but she has been trying to prove the audience that she can sing, and obviously this is back-firing on her. I do agree with Simon that she was really like a some crazy chick in her first song. Tonight's theme was Elvis Presley. I thought zixian should have tuned in to the performances today. Katherine's second song was the over-played "can't help falling in love". Yes, there are some of the Katherine flavours inside the song....but towards the end it was simply too much. I mean, you can't juz convert this ballad and all-time favourite love song into some climatic powerful song right? Jus too sudden twist of tempo did no good i guess.

I guess Taylor is the one that i will fully support for now.

Ryan seacrest ought to be more cautious of the words he used. Week by week, his comments really can start to piss ppl off. Spiteful comments. It's a pity that in this season, the judges has failed to give professional comments.

A fren of mine who is working as an engineer shared with me a office politics of his. He'd known this female colleague of his for 4 years. Let's call her miss A. Miss A lives in Clementi, and my fren Jason lives in Bishan. There is another mutual colleague of theirs call miss B. Initially Miss A wanted miss B to drive her to work. Miss B lives in Bukit Timah. However on that morning, Miss B would have to reach the office by 8am. Miss A dun have to reach so early, as she juz need to reach by 815. So Miss A was saying, aiya, like that i have to reach earlier by 15 minutes, that means i have to sleep short of 15 minutes. In the end, she asked my fren who is stayin in Clementi to pick her up.
Jason usually wakes up at 645 for work. Because of picking up miss A, he has to wake up around 6am to make sure he picks her up on time. However, he couldn't sleep much that night and ended up waking at 5am. He didn't dare to sleep, for fear that he will sleep past the time. So in the end he went breakfast with his parents early in the morning. He sms miss A and told her he might be early and asked her to get ready.
Miss A's reply was : "Aiya, if i know that u are picking me up early, i would have juz asked miss B to come fetch me, i think is ok lar, u go urself i go myself".
My fren's reply was : "i dun dare, you make me wake up so early, i am already on my way, i will wait until you come down."
When the both of them reached the office, Miss A started to grumble :"aiya, like that i might as well juz take the lift from miss B..sian".
At the end of the day, Jason, sms miss A and told her he was quite disappointed about the whole thing and how miss A shouldn't utilise a fren in this way.

What do u think? I think miss A deserves one tight slap on her face. Didn't know this kind of gal exist in the world lor. Never ever take a fren for granted. Never ever.

I think it will be interesting to have SCV. For one, i would love to catch the Judas Gospel that is featured on National Geographic Channel. Angel told me that ChannelNews Asia is gona broadcast it and i wonder when the date is.
My youngest brother always got the lastest copy of National Geographic and the topics covered in each issue never fail to fascinate me. Of course, the lastest copy is about Judas' Gospel. It was termed as a heresy by the Orthodox Christians while some feel that it's the truth to the complete narrative description of Christ sacrifical role on the cross.
Angel was pretty disturbed by the scene where Jesus was kind of laughing at something, according to Judas' gospel. Many had thought that if Judas Iscariot wasn't around, there wouldn't be the famous kiss of betray, the hanging of guilt, which eventually led to the final persecution on the cross. Does that mean that Judas should be "best of the disciple"?
"you will be cursed", Jesus warned him. Is it really true that Jesus actually wanted Judas to betray him to fulfil the prophesy from the Old Testaments? These are questions running through my mind as i peruse the National Geographic mag. They will forever be controversies.
It took the experts five years to translate the ancient script of the Judas' Gospel which was made in papyrus. It was so brittle that it started to break with slight touch. Experts were using tweezers and in that five years, only 80% of the gospel is completely translated.
It was found an egyptian village trader who now had passed away, and the secret of how he had found the script remained unknown. His family members shunned away from the media and refuse to provide any information on that origin.

For those interested in knowing about how the gosepl looks like and what it really says after thousands of years, here is a wonderful link: http://www9.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/gospel/

below is an excerpt from the National Geographic website.

The second page of the Gospel of Judas presents a dramatically different retelling of a final meal Jesus shared with his disciples. "When he [approached] his disciples, [who had] gathered together and [were] seated and offering a prayer of thanksgiving over the bread, [he] laughed," reads the manuscript. "The disciples said to him, 'Master, why are you laughing at [our] prayer of thanksgiving? We have done what is right.' He answered and said to them, 'I am not laughing at you. [You] are not doing this because of your own will but because [it is through this that] your god [will be] praised.' " Jesus laughs, scholars say, because the disciples do not understand that the God of the Old Testament, to whom they direct their prayers, is not the true God. In this gospel, only Judas, the disciple reviled by orthodox Christians, understands God's true nature.

Ya, sure i know that my blog loads slowly because of the Youtube videos. THousand apologies about that. I juz simply can't resist sharing some of these interesting videos to you guys.
Today is quite a pathetic yet fruitful day. Pathetic coz i went all the way to lakeside to collect textbooks from a fren, then go back to causeway point library.
Steve is doing maths major, so i thought i could borrow some of the linear algebra and operations research textbooks from him. I AM so BORED! I need books to juz read. Furthermore, OR is whole new topic to me and i would love to read up to find out what exactly it is. When i went Causeway point, i dun understand why i feel like an alien there. May be coz it'd been years since the last time i went there...and everything there is so different.
In the end, i was like carrying so many books with me, and when i finally reach home, i am glad the load is finally off me.
No more tuition with Eugene tentatively, which means tonight i can happily watch my American Idol! Yeappie.
I'd juz asked my mum where she wanted to eat on sunday, and she told me she preferred to eat out on saturday coz it's less crowded. She wanted to go to our fav eating place at Kembangan. The place where they went to eat for my bdae this year. Sometimes, i wish for something novel, instead of patronizing the same venue over and over again. Well, i guess it's Mother's day, so i will leave it to her to decide. My turn to treat this time round.. :( hehe.
Guess what this 21st May is my dad's bdae. Erm..so who's treating? I dunno :P
March April and May are always Peak periods for my family. July also. Coz July is my youngest bro's bdae. Usually i have to spend alot of money too.. bo bian.

Can't believe that i actually could sit through the wee hours of the night glueing my eyes to the tv for the results of the 2006 general election. Some would say the results are obvious. Is it really that obvious? I dunno.
Channel 5 did quite an average job on reporting live of the various reactions from various corners of Singapore. However, the two broadcasters were most of the time caught by surprise by how swift the results were out. They had to be interrupted several times due to the release of the results. Hmm... I thought they could have done a better job on that...
There were some technical error here and there too. For instance, when one of the chinese reporters had to interview PM Lee, PM Lee started to speak juz when the microphone failed to work. To PM Lee's oblivion, he kept on talking, until the chinese reported had to apologise to ask him that question again.
I was pretty annoyed by some of the reporters' rude behaviour. I can never understand the difficulty of their job but why should they stick out their hands with the recorder, resting their hands on the shoulder of Chiam See Tong? The police guards have to, on several occasions, push their hands away from resting their hands on the shoulders of Chiam. As you know, they are not juz determined to make sure the recorder in near his mouth. They had to be that desperate. I guess it's juz their job ba. That kind of act isn't professional either.
Ultimately, my area has to be the last to be announced. Angel and i were like sms-ing each other, about how close the votes were and how the opposition had retained their seats for HOugang and the Pontong Pasir.
It's a pity that i am the only person in the family tuning in to the live news last night. Kind of boring... second bro out, little brother playing game in room, mum sleeping, dad working night shift.
You know, it's great to realise how the different losing parties had such sportsmanship. You can roughly tell that the comments they made were not juz made out of "wayanging" but they were sincere congratulations to the winning party from the losing parties. More often that not, the losing party also ended up with a "i will be back" assertion. Jus like Anorld, i will be back.
It's a splendid idea to arrange the different parties at different assembly area for the arrival of the results. Considering the past historical conflicts, it's definitely a noteworthy idea put forward.
PM Lee demonstrated his multi-lingualism in yesterday post-results speech. Yes he had won in the AMK grc and he muz have been exhilirated considering this being his first contest after his reigning as a PM.
For better or for worse, the legacy will continue for the reigning of PAP in Singapore's political history. World Health Organisation had called SIngapore a role model for the SARS epidemic, the security of Singapore is never threatened, the diplomatic ties with various international empires, it's newwater. All these endeavours will continue to put in SIngapore in poise for continual survival as Global city without hinterland.
Sigh...global city without hinterland had been my choice for essay in my SS...wonder how i would fare in this paper.

Today jus made the vote. You know "the vote". The next one will be 5 years down the road you know. You ought to be excited, you ought to be eager to know the results of this seasonal election. Who shall emerge to be the conqueror i dunnno. All i know is that i kena taken to task by my dad because of my obvious choice for my vote. His rationale was, why "your vote is different from your mummy and i?"
I have tons of things to argue for if i wanted to. But i guess i juz give quiet ba. Anyway, i play no big role in the election also wat.

After the vote, nothing extraordinary happen. Life still resume normal, mundane, ennui, whatever you may call it. I finish my work yesterday. I am one jobless guy now.

Yesterday went out with xiaoting, chuan tian and yongxing. Basically, i was the first to reach. Then coz chuan tian was helping yongxing to troubleshoot his router, they took quite a bit of time to reach. Xiaoting was the next to reach. We walked around, and finally ended up in the long john at century square. Finally the last 2 of them finally reached. Ended up talking cock in the long john till about 10 plus pm. We were like talking nonsense, talking about extinct characters in our class 4A. About the indifference of Seng wee when Chuan tian saw him in mrt. About kok wee, about lindy, about ..that frenster cupid thingy haha. Ya i noe lar, started by me lar, can?
Yongxing started to ask him, "you know who is yixing's father?" (yixing was our mutual fren in engineering). Then i say..."oh no...no another one..who who?". I thought her dad mus be some important guy. Then yong xing solemnly mumbled " Your recruit". And i laugh hysterically. Obviously his sarcasm is good. LOL.
Finally today is a day of no work, and pure slacking at home. Feel like going out, but i bet it muz be freaking crowded everywhere. Right?
I juz realise Yongxing has so many nicknames for ppl in our class. Nicknames that are so...mad. Haha. Like who is Gan Eng Seng's sister? Hello kitty? Big face? You should hear from hiim lar. One big joker lar.

If having rushed down from Raffles Place to Pasir Ris to give tuition is not bad enough, Ethyl has to give me one kind of attitude today. I was really burning in fury. Anger is written boldly on my forehead.

I mean, primary 4, ...dunno how to count square? Or for that matter, 10 squares can count as 9 squares. Sometimes it's not a matter of being careless, but a matter of no effort. Absolutely BO CHAP. I started raising my voice at her, forcing her to one corner with all the questions, since she like to give me one word answer with no thinking process. I started to ask her, but why this, why cannot like that, then why like that, how come? And she thinks that it's a joke to her somemore, when tmr is like her maths exam.

Forget it lar. I have tried my best. She simply refuse to put in effort. And her mum is always absent.

Today Jessica gave me a loadful of paper to update. Basically all the price quotation for the chemical products Sasol sells. Again, i am sure Longrun and LImteh will love this. All the MIK, MEK, Propanoic acid, Acrylic acid, Acetone, Butyl glycol, all the weird weird names that i have hardly seen before, for the very fact that i am still stuck at the benzene stage u noe haha.

Jaded...after coming home. Had a late dinner, not interested for LOST on tv. Tmr is yet another day of working.....i wan to go town..

For the first time in my life, i am going to regret being such a lame and crappy guy, that one of my fren started to strongly believe that the story of the frienster is "staged". Wait a minute, did you mean the both of them are staging..? Haha.

Anyway, i wonder how xiaoting can straight away give me that correct answer for this mystery gal while angel i have to give several hints before she gave me the answer. Before i told angel, i told her that she will confirm say " CHEY...!"... In the end, she really chey, coz it was really a "chey" disclosure. I mean , ppl were expecting Jolina, Meiqi..Xiuqing.. ( I dunno why). Is it coz they look like they are going to be single forever? NO lar..may be they are juz too quiet in nature to be those type who can succumb to the cupid frenster love thingy.

THe four of us Yihao,Jordan,Guojun and I were studying together for the exam period. First it was Yihao who went tumbling down some steps i think, and his lap top got some dent. Next, it was myself who fell below the central library on a saturday, injuring my knee cap to my oblivion, until my jeans was stained red from outside. The third came jordan after one of the exam(statics i think). Jordan fell at YIH bustop on the concrete steps, but he kind of do a "break-fall" stunt and manage to escape the clutches of the falling monster. So now, the three of us were eyeing guojun closely. We ask him if he needs some help, it will be better for us to shove him now, then to fall unexpectedly with a drastic end. HAHA.

I know today i am working and u still see me online. This is not the first time, and perhaps you have realised that i am working at the same place. Yesterday they had this wonderful bufffet after a monthly meeting. Irene asked me to join them, theni say ok lor. Deep inside my heart, i was thinking..yeapie got buffet lor. Cheap skate lar i noe. I My time with sasol chemicals is always short lived coz they dun need me to stay for that long. After my work, i have to rush back home to my tuition nearby my house at 7pm.

I came home, managed to catch few glimpses of Paris, Katherine Chris and Taylor on American Idol. For the first time, i can watch tv with a full ease. With nothing behind the back of my mind.

What do you think of that Gourmet guy? Oh i mean Gomez. He is simply such a redundant character in the worker 's party. I mean, today's newspaper wrote about PAP's disclosure of Gomez's hidden agenda. That is, to discredit the electorial system in Singapore. I mean, if there were no surveillance camera, i wonder what will the outcome now. I have colleagues who feel that PAP is kicking up a big fuss. I am of coz thinking otherwise. What i envision of an opposition party is one capable of lending another voice to the government. This voice could be from the minority, could be from the poor. The opposition party should have strong arguments for their cause, and not rebuking PAP with words like "dare to die is better than scared to die". Or even to ask PAP to move on and not be distracted by an issue stirred by Gomez. As you can see MM Lee Kuan Yew told the worker's party, "go ahead and sue PAP if what we say about Gomez is untrue". Instead of having some brilliant tactics, the opposition is playing into the PAP's hands. Lousy. Minus points.

How many of you actually believe that friendster can help you look for some steady partners? Well, i am definitely not one of these believers.
I am holding on to another one of the juicy news from ngee ann 4A. One of us is getting attached...and this guy has to be my ex recruit. You know, first it was Lijin with my ex-recruit, and now another one. Seriously, pls dun think that i am expressing disapproval of their relationship or what, juz that i am suprised and it came too sudden thats all.

Shawn, one of my ex recruits from 3 Sir, once excitedly tried to show me his gf's photo from his wallet. I took a glance, and believe me, all that i can say was "Lijin???". Shawn then asked me how i had known Lijin...and then that kind of became the topic of the day.

As some of you all might have guessed, Lijin brought along Shawn to my 21st bdae last year. So it was kind of weird, that ur subordinate become one of ur frens' bf. Nevertheless, it was pretty fun. WHy fun? Dun ask so much, juz interesting.

So now u must be wondering who is this person from 4A. Time will come when she will bring him along for 4A gathering, coz he told me the gal(4A) wun alllow him to go. HAHA. I told him i will psycho her to bring him along.
One thing to admit, this guy has a very complicated dubious background. He used to get into some trouble and i have to clarified with him over msn, over some alleged trouble he got some of my fellow specs into. I guess his explanation is satisfactory enough and all i can do is to ask him to take good care of the gal. I ask him how he get to noe her. His reply was " from you lor..".
Almost immediately, i retorted," From me? WHat you mean?"
"Your friendster lar", he exclaimed.

Part of me is wary of the way the both of them knew each other, the other half of me is taking this with a pinch of salt. I guess i can't intefere too much and let them be ba.

This week shall be a hectic week, with work at Sasol Chemicals as well as extra tuition for my kids who are having exams.
