As usual for primary school kids, we waited for half an hour or so for the latecomers. Jin Hong was way too late, and we have no choice but to leave without her. On my way there, she kept calling, to ask us to let her go by herself, and Stella even wanted to go and fetch her...

In the end, we feel that we really could not afford the time and manpower to let Jin Hong come along...

That Kai wee and the rest of the boys were the clowns on that day...when i say clowns, i really mean clowns. You should watch the video that i have uploaded onto Youtube. The one with the balloon demonstration in one of the auditorium. GMPS was bringing up the excitement of the whole demonstration. Way to go!

So we tagged along with the mentees and Mrs Yang was pretty enthusiastic in sharing with them the explanation behind the exhibits. The only so-called trouble that we get from the kids were that some of the boys were playing with the paper-rubberband catapult thingy. They even accidentally hit some of the strangers....

The mentees were always deriving pleasures out of simple things. Balloons, balls moving around, water.. ..you should really see how wet they were. We decided not to restrain them, and juz let them be. After all, perhaps these are rare moments haha. That doesn't of coz mean that the mentors ourselves wanted to get wet too. We were simply onlookers.

Quote of the day is the conversation between Liang Qiao and Jian Yong(hunter):

Liang Qiao: Hurry up, do a chop chop one.
Jian Yong: huh? chop chop? (apparently he couldn't catch what chop chop means) Erm, not lamb chop..or watsoever.

All in all, the whole trip was pretty alright, with less involvement in the actual quiz, but with some effort that was good enough. An excursion with primary school students will always be test on ur strength of your legs; you will have to keep running with them or even ahead.

Jin Yuan and Kai Wee were having this Mosaic Picture being done. A pretty cool software huh?

Monday met up with stephen and naseera discussing about the invitation card design, the banner design and the science center trip on this coming saturday. Hmm what a coincidence that i would be going down to science center with the primary school kids, juz when i thought that i haven't been going there for a long time... so it's going to be cool! Well too bad we r not going to omnitheatre... BP is not going to sponsor us for that haha. So almost a whole day of saturday will be spent there..

Ya...another Tsunamis, a new death toll in indonesia..sigh..when will all these calamities ever stopped? Everywhere is wreaking havoc...Timor Leste, Indonesia, India train bombings..etc. One thing for sure, even if the survey results revealed how much unhappy Singaporeans are, please be greatful for the fact that your family and yourselves are safely under a shelter with proper food and drink. I couldn't ask for more.

Singaporeans has the proclivity for making a mountain out of a molehill. Was reading the "Wo Bao" today and happened to peruse the news on the BAK GUK TEH issue. Believe me, it's such a small little trivial issue that had been blown up by too much a scale by the media, and of coz the public...boring news.

Next week is my last week in my company..and seems like my company have to close down real soon..As you might have known. ...after the shareholders' meetings, it'd been agreed that Raffles City will finally be sold to CapitaLand, the property giant...so now Raffles Holdings..have nothing left..they sold off Swisshotel and Raffles hotel..and now selling the last asset, the Raffles City.

The basement of Raffles City had finally been opened over the last weekend. It's really cool and nicely down. If you guys have the chance, do pay a visit there. Nice cafes..shops..etc. Even a big MPH bookstore!

Yup..finally turned up for the jc gathering yesterday..see a couple of familiar faces...not to mention that atypical nonsensical behaviour coming forth from a dentist-to-be Shi Cai. His customary "Yo brother, wassup.." is so darn classic that it never fails to bring back the reminiscent memories from jc times...

And of coz...that bickering Shuhong and enhui..bla bla

There are also missing characters here and there...and i have come to realise i wasn't the only person who had gone missing from s14. Clarence is one. :P I am sure you heard of the incident on tekong island previously i have spotted Clarence in one of the tekong ferry. He was like "Erm...erm, you are.....", his words kind of trailed off into silence. Well in the end i retorted with "hi clarence, how are ya doing?". Wa lau eh..like that also can forget.

By the time i rush down to meet them after my tuition, it was close to 9pm. They had finished their dinner at the marina square food court. Amazingly, it was marina square food court and not the initial proposed venue of Glutton square. I was told glutton square was a "outside" eating place where there are no air-con. Yea, call us spoiled brats for all i care :P

Allen, shu hong, ziyang and Shicai were quick to leave not long after that...coz some of them working tmr, some of them have to wake up early for sch the next day. Yea..they are the brains of s14...except for one.

Eugene is back from melbourne..and was sharing with us his experience in studying medicine in australia. Can u imagine that he is so sick of singapore food back in australia? Back in jc times, i have already known that Eugene can cook. WHen he is in australia..he had been cooking..and even tried cooking laksa to sell in australia. He told me that there was once he had to prepare the soup and noodle till wee hours like 3am..until he is so freaking scared of yellow noodles now..

Yvonne can't make it coz of her grandmother being diagnosed of cancer.. and we were juz wondering if she and andy will be the first wedding dinner we are going to attend...well 5 years since jc times.. Enhui was also telling me how "cool" andy was fetching yvonne from sch in hall in his motorbike and stuff etc.

It was quite a good old times talking about those victorian days..and how much things have changed..and how much Daryl could have change haha. Enhui was telling me how matured he had become mugging at the medicine library. Well..kinda hard to imagine :P

By the time they were done at the marina food court, we headed off to this pub with live band near the millenia walk..didn't really catch the name. Eugene and i shared this munich beer lager..which was quite nice to drink.. well the gals order some tequila thingy...pretty fruity.

Yesterday was my cousin's birthday(on the left). It was his 21st birthday..so my brother and i went down earlier to his place to help out my aunt. He don't many friends and out of 30 plus people, only 3 girls hehe. Most of his frens were his VS frens.

My other cousin got him a very interesting birthday cake! It has the mahjong tiles on it which is made of white chocolate and taste yummy. And the dice can be eaten too! After the cake cutting session..everybody was rushing to grab the "fa" mahjong tile to eat...but the white chocolate is sweet but nice.

I left the place at about 4pm for ktv at Paradiz once again! Yea had a good time singing my hearts out.

Today is stay-home day. Tidying my room, sweeping, mopping, laundry..etc. Have to do all that before my parents come back from KL.
