What does this pic reminds you of? Yes it's Christmas soon! This semester had been one hell of a rollercoaster ride..but thanks to those group of frens who had together ride coaster together. Complete madness. I promise myself not blog too much about academics. Well i am try hard not to. :P
Iqbal was recently sending me this song called MAD WORLD by gary jules. Quite decent yet depressing song ha..but it belongs to the James Blunt, Daniel Powter's genre. Nice piano music though. This semester i had been listening to some new exotic songs. Like from new zealand Bic Ranga, who reminds me so much of Emil Fujita. Not to mention Clay Aiken's lastest cover of Mariah Scary's "Without You". My fren flew to HongKong for her concert and the HONGKONG authority in the end cancelled the whole concert citing due to "unreasonable request" by Mariah Scary. Alright you sing well, i adore you, but i had heard enough of people complaing that your arrogance is pissing everybody off. What's with you? Back to Clay Aiken's rendition of that song...was quite refreshing actually, together with his new image and everything. I still feel that he is a geek. Well do listen to that song.
Chuantian asked me to ask around who wanted to go watch HAPPY feet on tuesday. That penguin show...
Also, i had been very very addicted to Deathnote. Especially gluing to my laptop every friday for it's realise of the episode. Now episode 9..and it's getting more and more exciting. It's more than jus an animae. I like to see how the 2 main characters battle out their wits in the extreme sense. Also, as the sequel is going to be out on 28 this month...hmm i wonder what the ending will be like...anyway that guy who acted as L really look the one in the MANGA. However that LIGHT dun look like the one in the manga at all.
Today's last exam ended with a BANG! Yea..so what if i can't finish the paper..isn't that like so common in nus nowadays. Something muz be really wrong with me to actually reach school at 7 am for some mugging, if it ever helped for the paper today. Ya and of coz i witness the legendary inhabitants of tutorial rooms in nus..ya..those mugger who slept on benches, tutorial rooms..and brisk walking up and down the corridor..ma chiam like the rooms are their hostel. Some ugly sights were of coz noted by my spy cam :P Not to forget the ugly NUS ppl who in the midst of studying had forgotten how to behave not like animals..with those loadful of rubbish at the bin...the stench really filled the air.
Ya..after this whole shit of trauma from Operations Research module..i finally felt that relief that i had never felt before... Ya i know that seniors do warn that year 2 is the most siong part of a typical ise course...so..this hard earned break is really one that i am looking forward to it.
My buddies and i went to get subway sandwiches and we decided to head down to IKEA tampines to take a look. Please next time if you are going to IKEA don't go after 1pm..becoz you have to wait for an hour for the 2pm shuttle bus. The rest of the timings has half an hour of interval in between..but we have unfortunately chosen the 1-2pm shuttle bus..
Once we were there...we immediately felt as if we were in some foreign land..All of us felt that this was very "malaysia". For those who had gone to IKEA you will know what i mean. GIANT right opposite IKEA, and it's in the midst of construction, and the COURTS is just next to IKEA. All around that area..what you see is some trees, forest, barren land, whatever you call it. Like what jordan had mentioned..Malaysia GIANT is built in that kind of environment..OUT OF NOWHERE. Wait till i get those pics from Jordan.
As usual we were in our crappy and goofy mode...
At ikea...it was like some MEGA warehouse...esp on one of the floors..the shelves reached so high up in the ceiling..and we were simply awe by it.. It's the Christmas festive reason..and the IKEA no doubt was packed with that atmosphere. I am addicted to my handphone camera's MACRO mode..coz it's can really give great depth to pictures at close-up. This is esp useful when i am in a mood to take pictures of insects and flowers at close-up. The subject will hence be sharp while the background is blurred.
Some decorative dolls from sweden? I remember Songing gave Nassera this as a bdae gift when he came back from SEP. All the following pics are from ikea.
I personally like this picture of cacti. Love it with the macro mode. :>
Not to forget IKEA famous $1 hotdog..and i dun see what's so nice about it..I prefer their meatballs..
